Accompanied by our good friends Steven and Angel, we headed over to Jinji Hu (Golden Rooster Lake), a 5-10 minute walk from our apartment. The local district administration put on a 20-30 minute fireworks show, launched from an island in the middle of the small lake. The show was followed by an impressive fountain, light and laser show.
